Once all datums (fixed starting point of a scale or operation) are marked, We excavate a minimum of 150mm for all patio areas, artificial lawns, and any soft or unstable ground. The excavated areas should be thoroughly assessed and cleared of any debris or loose material.
sub-base preperation
Membrane is carefully laid over the sub-grade, and a layer of Type 1 MOT is applied for the sub-base, built up to a minimum of 100mm. We use locally sourced granite for the MOT, renowned for its exceptional strength, ensuring a solid and reliable foundation for the surface

Each paved area is meticulously marked, with the falls precisely set. We lay all our paving on full mortar beds, ensuring a strong bond between paving and the mortar bed all paving is primed. To achieve a flawless finish, we use a clamping system that eliminates any lips and keeps the tiles perfectly flush.
